Oleander is a slow burner over there on the CBC Music TOP 20. Last week it jumped up 3 spots to 15 which leaves us with some work to do. It’s rather tiring having to ask for votes but they do count and I need all the help I can get! So please dig deep with me and give it a couple votes before you move on with your day. I’m so thankful for all your help with this.

Mother’s Day - Modern Drugs (acoustic)

I feel really fortunate for all the great women in my life. I’ve been extra lucky with the strength, love and encouragement they’ve shown to me. Rebekah, my Mother and Sister are all constant in their support as I push forward trying to make music for our community.

So yesterday I mainly stayed off social media and just hung out with Rebekah and my Mom. There were lots of walks, conversations about past and present, what comes next, and lots of playing with Rollie. A day well spent in my books.

I’d be lost without my mom. Rollie would be too!

So I just wanted to tell all you mother’s out there, Happy Mother’s Day - we’d all be so lost without you…up a creek, no paddle and no way home.
